Spirituality, Therapy, & Spiritual Support

Your Inner Wisdom Has a Place in Therapy

For me, spirituality and emotional healing have never been separate paths. My own spiritual journey began in my early twenties and has continued to shape how I understand healing, personal growth, and the deeper process of becoming more fully who we are.

Over the years, my training and experience in psychotherapy, neuroscience-informed approaches, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and spiritual development have come together into a whole-person understanding of healing—one that honors mind, heart, body, and spirit.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: the answers you seek are within you. Whether we are working together in psychotherapy or exploring your spiritual journey more directly, my role is not to tell you who to be or what to believe. It is to help you deepen your awareness, connect with your own inner wisdom, and more fully discover and trust who you already are.

Spirituality & Therapy

Spirituality has been part of my understanding of human growth and healing since long before I became a therapist. It influences how I understand our capacity for change, the importance of self-awareness, and the deeper wisdom within each of us.

In psychotherapy, however, your beliefs—not mine—are what matter. I don't ask you to see your experiences through my spiritual framework. Instead, I make room for the spiritual dimension of your life alongside your emotions, relationships, history, values, body, and thoughts.

That might include questions of meaning, purpose, intuition, forgiveness, or connection—or spirituality expressed through religion, meditation, nature, creativity, or simply a desire to understand yourself more deeply.

This perspective integrates naturally with psychotherapy, Brainspotting, mindfulness, and other approaches I use to support healing and personal growth.

Spiritual Counseling & Support

Exploring Your Inward Journey More Directly

For those who want to explore their spiritual growth more directly, I also offer Spiritual Counseling & Support in my role as a Certified Center for Enlightenment Teacher. This is a separate offering from psychotherapy and provides space to explore your life, experiences, and challenges through a specifically spiritual lens.

My own spiritual journey has been deeply shaped by Jane Elizabeth Hart, founder of the Center for Enlightenment, whose teachings I began studying in my early twenties. Her work has influenced my understanding of self-awareness, healing, and our capacity to consciously participate in our own growth.

Spiritual Counseling may draw upon the teachings and practical tools of Center for Enlightenment, including ways of recognizing patterns, listening more deeply within, navigating life transitions, and connecting with your own inner light and wisdom. The goal is not to give you answers, but to support you in becoming more conscious of the answers and direction already available within you.
